Are You Part Of The Cast?

My favorite thing in fashion is when you meet people who are just so nice that you enjoy going out of your way to do nice things in return. The Cast is a company that truly deserves every kind word said about them. I met Chuck (owner) awhile back in New York at The Cast store, and he was one of the nicest dudes I have ever met through work. Now I'm not going to sit here and talk up his products just because he was nice either. The Cast offers some of the most bad ass rocker gear I have ever seen. I'm pretty sure they only work in leather, denim and flannel, which is probably why I love it so much. The store, despite being almost impossible to find, is amazing as well. The walls are covered in stuffed animal heads and it just screams bad ass

Still Tippin'

For all my Boston gangstas out there, if you haven't heard of OnThatTip.info yet, not only are you not cool, but you are hurting your chances of ever getting to party with me. The site is run by Justincredible(Nightlife) , Zak Broman(Music) and The Fashist Dictator (Fashion). The site hooks you up with the hottest parties, sickest new jams and some dope new threads as well. Justin and Zak are also DJ's , and when their powers combine (cue the Captain Planet song) they are Roguewaves. They have been spinning all over the city lately. They are damn good DJs and damn good dudes too.

NinjaSonik Hearts The Pratt Pack!

My friends Andrew and Mollie have an older brother who is the DJ (DJ Teenwolf) in this band called NinjaSonik from Brooklyn. They came out with this funny ass video/song about all the groupies from Pratt who come to all their shows. I'd love me an art school girl too!

Check out the video and this other write up I did on these toasty jams!

Whatchu Know Bout Me? Whatchu Whatchu Know Bout Me?

Alight, I know it has taken me a bit but I finally have a proper layout, banner, this and that, etc. etc. so it is time for an official introduction from your fearless leader! Brace yourselves, because I'm going to bore the shit out of you with this one.

My name is Corey.
I live in one of three places at any given time.
New York City.
Boston.
Buffalo.
I am 6' 1" short.
I am pretty darn skinny.
I am straight (sorry dudes!).
I am single (you're welcome ladies).
I also write and work for FashionIndie.com doing men's fashion blogging and Public Relations.
I am 21 dangerous and traumatizing years of age.
I am a student at Northeastern University (sometimes).
I am obsessed with fashion, mostly shoes (ask my mother).
I started this blog to show what influences me in my adventures through the world that is fashion.
Buffalo, NY is not the shittiest city in the world!
I am not your typical fashion person.
I love beer.
I love heavy metal music.
I love sports.
I love movies and video games.
I have a solid crew of friends and family who I love to death (I'm sure you'll meet them at some point on the blog).
I'm going to attempt to update as much as possible.
The site is still in progress, I have a lot to learn about Blogspot still.
I am going to rock your fucking life with this blog!

What made me want to start this blog?
I had a crazy day dream one afternoon that Marc Jacobs had a runway show on an old movie set from Back To The Future to the sound of Pantera's greatest hits album, however Anna Wintour wasn't in the front row. Instead it was 80's pop stars, cartoon characters, Chuck Norris and the Fashion Indie crew (weird I know). Since that will never happen, I decided that I would start this blog to fill that void in my life. Each post is one puzzle piece towards recreating that dream in real life!

Hope you like what I offer up, and as always feedback is rad!

Where Were You In '92?

OK so maybe it was 1991, but regardless I thought I would skip the intro, run-around, bullshit stuff on the blog and give you a little something about what's been bumping through my iPhone headphones lately.

For as long as I can remember I've been listening to Nirvana. Despite my Dad telling me over and over about that time in 1990 when he first heard their debut album Bleach, I must tip my hat to the man, he turned me onto some good music at an early age. Growing up I remember listening to Pearl Jam, Nirvana, R.E.M and Red Hot Chili Peppers every time I jumped into my Dad's car. Fifteen years later I'm still into it, and it has really affected my lifestyle.

Along with the cool fashion pieces I plan on bringing to you guys and girls real soon, I'll be hitting you up with my favorites in music, movies, entertainment and everyday life.

Hope you like it!
