You Spin Me Right Round Baby Right Round!

I think these two images just about cover it, but for those of you who are a bit slow let me explain. My boys over at DMF are throwing another epic rager in Buffalo on March 21st, so if you're in town that is the place to be! The usual deal, couple bucks at the door, amazing music from Dj Dstar and I'm sure my man Jay as well. The booze will be flowing, and of course there will be plenty of girls shakin' there asses too. The only downside, DMF owner and party extraordinaire Seabass, and yours truly will be noticeably absent from the party.

MAY OUR PRESENCE BE FELT!!!

No One Puts Baby In The Corner...Except Me!

Ok before I can get into what I was originally going to say, can we just take a second to reflect on how amazing this picture is! I hope I can be depicted in this way at some point in my life. Moving on...

So I'll be the first to admit that my blog hasn't been getting the attention is deserves from me. Due to this bullshit institution known as "College" I've been overwhelmed with tests, papers and projects. On top of that I still have my job over at Fashion Indie that is priority #1 in my book. So for all ten of you who may check this site on a regular basis, I'm sorry!

No it's time for the good news. I'm currently back at my house Buffalo for about a week on Spring Break, so I should have some time to get some rad content up for you guys. For now, I'm going to slave away on Fashion Indie! Check back all week for great new content!

Ohhhh Miissssttterrrrrr Willlllllllson!

Dennis The Menace references? They are always legit and you know it! Well that really has nothing to do with the rest of this post, but I tend to have a fantastical imagination.

Sweet kicks huh? Guess who owns them. Yes, yes I do. These kicks are one of the many amazing designs that the Australian wonders Love Thy Neighbour produce. Want to know the best part? They are easy on your wallet! I can't say enough nice things about the Love Thy crew, they produce some damn good shit! I have done multiple items for them on Fashion Indie, and I think it's pretty safe to say it's been love since then. So now that I have succeeded in making you all very jealous, I think it would be kind of me to hit you up with the link to the Love Thy Neighbour online store, so you can go and spend all your money there like I intend on doing.

Sorry for the single image, I'm waiting on my amigo Matty to come snap some pictures of me goofing around in my new favorite kicks. I'll have those up for y'all (my most hated word ever) soon.

This Movie Is Rated R For: Blood, Violence and Love?

Probably my favorite movie in 2008. Let The Right One In is an Icelandic film about a 12 year old boy, Oskar, who gets bullied in school, but finds friendship in his 12 year old neighbor Eli. The two fall in love, but there's one minor detail, Eli is a vampire. The movie is absolutely amazing. If you haven't seen it yet might I recommend heading out and picking it up right now.

Click...Click...Clash!

Big ups to my girl Susie G. proud owner of Boston's own Click/Clash street style blog. I ran into Susie a year ago on the mean streets of Boston, Mass. and she hit me up for a snapshot for her site. I reconnected with her recently, and Boston has never been the same. She is a key element in the nightlife that is (more like isn't) Boston. She hosts one of the biggest reoccurring parties in Cambridge called Hellauxxx (pronounced Hello for all you fools who don't know what's good).

Awesome gal, awesome style, awesome blog! Check her out over at Click/Clash!

How Dirty Boys Get Clean

As I noted in my earlier post, I have an unconditional love for my boys over at Dazzle Me Formal. A bunch of hometown dudes just doing what they love, and catching a few eyes around town. My man Seabass started the company back in high school as a senior project, and decided to make his project come to life by putting his plan into action. He's brought in friends to help out with designs and promotional stuff (I see you Brett, Chest, Shadow and Stephen!). I had my hand in the mix for a solid while, but with my inability to stay in one area for more than a couple weeks at a time, I've kept my involvement to minimal press outreach and a few tips and ideas I throw at Seabass every now and again.

Don't know what Dazzle's all about? Sucks for you! Dazzle provides some amazing screen printed tees and outerwear, but they are also the youngest brand to ever have an exclusive deal with New Era. Now I don't wear flat bill caps, but if I did I would be all over these DMF jams.

Now I could probably type a four page essay giving you the rundown of everything Dazzle Me Formal has ever done, but I think they can do it better. Check out their website DirtyDazzle.com, and check out the slide show below for some more dope designs from my boys back home.

Zine Scene: God Bless America

Found this spread in Regia Magazine today, thought it was pretty rad. Gotta love when other countries make fun of the good ol' US of A!

Check out the entire spread here!
